Make yourself at home with our breakfast included. Nothing is better than waking up to the smell of hot cinnamon buns in the oven. Breakfast is served from 7:30 - 9:30 every morning and we look forward to hearing what you like the most.
Less is more / Enjoy
We believe in simplicity and quality. Wether you’re in the mood for some cereal, yogurt, sourdough crisp bread, warm bread buns or toast with the best Icelandic cheese and jam, we have it, just the way us Icelanders love our breakfast. Healthy, no meet, ending with a bit of sweetness - yes, that’s where the hot cinnamon bun comes in.
Example / Make it special
A toast, fruit, yogurt and musli, our favourite multi vitamin juice and something sweet with the coffee is all you need. Our family hand picked all of these ingredients just for you to enjoy.
Breakfast / Lounge area
Our breakfast area turns into a calming lounge where you can sit down and read a book or two, enjoy a cup of coffee or the most amazing Icelandic water, yes we believe the water here in Lindarhóll is by far the best in Iceland, Lindarhóll means ‘Spring-hill’ and that is for a reason.
Lakes / Roam around
Our guest house is a converted farmhouse inspired by a modern design movement. The land is vast and yes you are free to roam, we have to lakes: Mjóavatn and Búðavatn and there is nothing more peaceful than a summer evening walk around the lakes watching the brown trout and artic char jumping around freely.
Rivers / Waterfall
And thats not all, we were completely taken by surprise when we found our own little waterfall 5 min walk down the land from the house. Fancy taking a chair and a book down there? Complete peace and quiet, emerged in nature, one with nature, we can’t think of a better way to recharge.
